जाता) वाह्मण(परोहित) को

In the month of Kartik, when the first rice harvest happens, then first of all new chiura (flattened rice), patola (rice flakes), and jaggery are eaten, and the Brahman (priest) is also fed.

प्राम: पुरोहित नहीं करता
था नमी भी। जंगल में पुजारियों
मठ (मंदिर) में भेजा दिया जाता था।
Earlier, there was no priest in the village either. Forest priests were sent to the math (temple).

मठ शिकारा के
था। ग्राम भीकार है पार्वतीय दो गाँव
द्वारा यह मठ में दान दिए जाते
थे + कि बनाये जाने के कारण
जिसकी आमद वृद्धि होने गई बढ़ती
हो गई जिनमें
The math had a shikhara (temple spire). The village is mountainous, and donations were given to this math by two villages, due to which its income kept increasing.

पास्य(?), शिवरात्रि(सावन में)
