मजदूर II A

अछूत मजदूर को मालिक के
घरेलू जीवन से कम सम्पर्क या
संबंध था। मजदूर अछूत नहीं थे
वे लोग मालिक के घरेलू सदस्य
तो स्वाभाविक है। वे घर में ही
घर की औरतें मालिका की हवेली
में काम करती थीं।

व्यवहार इन लोगों के प्रति अच्छूतों से
था। कुछ सम्पन्न परिवारों में तो
दास नौकरानी को भोजन के अतिरिक्त
मासिक वेतन भी मिलता था। लेकिन
साधारण परिवारों में
उन लोगों को केवल भोजन पर ही
निर्भर करना पड़ता था।

लेकिन दोनों में अंतर था।
एक जगह भोजन जहाँ मिलता था
वो उसको बराबर मिलता था।
दूसरी जगह जहाँ किसी
mजदूर की पत्नी को, मां को
ही मिलता था वह वहाँ
। सुबह-शाम काम करना पड़ता
था। वेतन में अनाज
ही देने की प्रथा थी।

Worker II A

The untouchable worker had less contact or connection with the master's domestic life. The workers who were not untouchable were naturally domestic members of the master's house. The women of the house worked in the mistress's mansion.

The behavior towards these people was like that towards untouchables. In some prosperous families, the slave maidservant received monthly wages in addition to food. But in ordinary families, those people had to depend only on food.

But there was a difference between the two. In one place where food was provided, it was provided equally. In another place, where it was given to some worker's wife or mother, there she had to work morning and evening. The custom was to give grain as wages.
