3. परिकल्पना (Hypothesis to be tested, if any, or questions to be asked)

अभीतक वैदिक काल के इतिहास के विषय में ठीक से जानकारी नहीं हो सकी है। यह निश्चित ही शब्दों के अर्थ-विश्लेषण के माध्यम से पूरा किया जाएगा। इन शब्दों में भरपूर भौतिक अर्थों का समावेश है। शब्द और अर्थ में निहित अर्थ इन दोनों तथा सहयोग के कारण हुआ है। शब्दों के अर्थ के संदर्भ में उनके प्रारम्भिक अर्थ के साथ-साथ सामाजिक, आर्थिक तथा राजनैतिक बदलते हुए समय की आवश्यकता के अनुसार परिवर्तन होता रहा है। इसका भी इन शब्दों का विश्लेषण द्वारा हल किया जा सकता है।

ऐसा लगता है कि इस प्रकार की नवीन(?) दृष्टि से अनजाने(?) ही ऐसे तथ्य प्राप्त हो जायेंगे जो महत्वपूर्ण होंगे। प्रारम्भ में विचारकों के अनुसार शब्द और अर्थ के बीच मनमाना(?) सम्बन्ध होता है। लेकिन यदि शब्द मानवीय(?) अनुभवों की तरह सम्भवतः होने लगते हैं। तथा शब्दों में निहित उन क्षमताओं के माध्यम से कहा जा सकता है कि शब्द समय
So far, proper information about the history of the Vedic period has not been obtained. This will definitely be completed through semantic analysis of words. 4. अनुसंधान की रूप रेखा (research design)

The outline is as follows

सम्पूर्ण वैदिक साहित्य (ऋग्‌, यजुर्‌, साम, अथर्व, ब्राह्मण, आरण्यक, उपनिषद्) का पूर्ण अध्ययन का उसमें शब्दों का चयन किया जाएगा। साथ ही विभिन्न कोशों की सहायता से शब्दों की व्युत्पत्ति तथा विविध अर्थों की खोज की जाएगी। शब्द के बदलते हुए अर्थ की परिस्थिति परम्परा आदि देखी जाएगी और तदनुसार अर्थ का स्पष्टीकरण निर्माण किया जाएगा। हमारा उद्देश्य यह जानना है कि यदि भाषा परम्परा वाहक है तो उसको खोलने से क्या पता चलेगा। भाषा में सामाजिक उपकरण है। सम्पत्ति भी भाषा सामाजिक सम्पत्ति है। पुरानी पीढ़ी अपने अनुभवों को नयी पीढ़ी के लिए संजोकर समेटकर रखती है। अर्थात् भाषा के अध्ययन से यह भी पता चलेगा की भाषा सामाजिक परम्परा की प्रक्रिया को कैसे बदल देती है। अर्थ और शब्द दोनों के स्वरूपों में परिवर्तन होते रहते हैं।
A complete study of the entire Vedic literature (Rig, Yajur, Sama, Atharva, Brahmana, Aranyaka, Upanishad) will be conducted and words will be selected from it. Along with this, the etymology and various meanings of words will be searched with the help of different dictionaries. The circumstances and traditions of the changing meanings of words will be observed and accordingly clarification of meanings will be constructed. Our purpose is to know what will be revealed if language is a carrier of tradition and we unlock it. Language contains social tools. Language is also social property. The old generation preserves and stores its experiences for the new generation. That is, the study of language will also reveal how language changes the process of social tradition. Changes continue to occur in the forms of both meaning and word.
