5. Sampling formation/structure
(Sampling frame)

मौखिक सहयोग के लिए गांव के बुजुर्ग, आलोचनात्मक प्रतिभा वाले लोगों से परामर्श लिया जाएगा। अनुभवी व्यक्तियों से मौखिक परम्पराओं को लिपिबद्ध किया जाएगा। हर जाति के लोगों से अलग-अलग सामग्रियां एकत्रित की जाएंगी। लोक-रीति रिवाजों तथा त्योहारों आदि की विस्तृत जानकारी हासिल की जाएगी।
For oral cooperation, consultation will be taken from elderly people and those with critical talent in the village. Oral traditions will be documented from experienced persons. Different materials will be collected from people of every caste. Detailed information about folk customs and festivals etc. will be obtained.

६. Tools to be utilized in collection of data (if used)

आंकड़े एकत्र करने में निम्न उपकरण काम में लाए जाएंगे:
गांव के श्रेष्ठ जनों से मिलकर मौखिक परम्पराओं को लिपिबद्ध किया जाएगा। प्रव्रजन के विषय में उनकी जितनी भी कहानियां हैं उनकी रिपोर्ट तैयार करनी पड़ेगी। उसके साथ ही दरभंगा राज अभिलेखागार, बेतिया अभिलेखागार, जनगणना रिपोर्ट, भू-राजस्व कार्यालय के कारणों का अनुशीलन किया जाएगा। इस गांव से सम्बन्धित जानकारियों को जाना जाएगा। आंकड़ों को दर्ज करने हेतु टेप-रिकार्डर तथा फीता-अभिलेखीय तथा फीता अभिलेखन (Tape recorder tape recording) का उपयोग होगा। रीति-रिवाजों तथा त्योहारों के चित्र (photograph) लिए जाएंगे।
The following tools will be used in collecting data: Oral traditions will be documented by meeting with the distinguished people of the village. Reports will have to be prepared of all their stories about migration. Along with this, examination will be done of the reasons from Darbhanga Raj Archives, Betiya Archives, census reports, land revenue office. Information related to this village will be known. For recording data, tape recorder and tape recording will be used. Pictures (photographs) of customs and festivals will be taken.

7. Basis of the approach for the study under consideration...
(Rationale of an approach to be adapted on the study of the problem)

इस अभिगम के मूलाधार में क्षेत्र अध्ययन है। विभिन्न लोगों से साक्षात्कार कर मौखिक तथा अलिखित परम्पराओं को लिखित रूप दिया जाएगा। फिर उसके आधार पर कुछ निष्कर्ष निकाले जाएंगे। सरकारी रिकार्ड को भी देखा जाएगा। चूंकि विभिन्न गोत्रों में विद्यमान परम्पराओं का कोई लिखित रिकार्ड नहीं है, लिखित जानकारी नहीं है इसलिए सारी अलिखित परम्पराओं को लिखित रूप देना है। उसकी उपयोगिता अन्यत्र निर्धारित है।
The basis of this approach is field study. By interviewing various people, oral and unwritten traditions will be given written form. Then some conclusions will be drawn based on that. Government records will also be examined. Since there is no written record of the traditions existing in various gotras, no written information, therefore all unwritten traditions have to be given written form. Its utility is determined elsewhere.
