तेली का काम है तेल बनाना।
तीन सेर फलाइन देने पर एकसेर तेल
देना — और फिर बदलना —

खली नफा में —

बसन्त पञ्चमी के दिन हल खड़ा
करने का पर्व (त्योहार) मनाया
जाता है। किसान हल, बैल तथा
हलवाहे की पूजा करता है। फूल,
अक्षत, चन्दन आदि से पूजा।
हलवाहे को चन्दन लगाया जाता है।
गोबर से आंगन को लीप-पोत कर उसमें

हल, बैल, हलवाह, किसान, बैठी
आदि के चित्र नाजक के आटे का
पिठार (चावल के आटे का घोल) से
बनाये जाते हैं। ये चित्र प्राय: औरतें
ही बनाती हैं। आंगन में हल की भी
पूजा होती है। ३५-३६

On Basant Panchami day, the plough standing
festival (celebration) is celebrated.
The farmer worships the plough, oxen and
the ploughman. With flowers,
akshata, sandalwood etc. for worship.
Sandalwood is applied to the ploughman.
After coating the courtyard with cow dung

Plough, oxen, ploughman, farmer, seated
etc. pictures are made with delicate flour
paste (rice flour solution).
These pictures are mostly made by women
only. In the courtyard, the plough is also
worshipped. 35-36
