उत्तर बिहार के सीतामढी जिले में स्थित एक प्राचीन गांव है जिसका नाम है मोरसाड़।
1664 ई. में बसा माना जाता है। 2148 वर्ष पूर्व यहाँ कसरों का वास था।
स्थान है तथा यहाँ अभी भी प्राचीन अवशेष उपलब्ध हैं। मोरसाड़ के समीप
इस प्रस्तावित योजना के अन्तर्गत के गांव होने के कारण यहाँ
क्षेत्र में अध्ययन में काफी रुचि होगी। इस गांव की सामाजिक,
आर्थिक, धार्मिक तथा राजनीतिक आदि अवस्थाओं से सम्बंधित परम्पराओं
को, जो आजतक अलिखित हैं उनका विस्तृत एवं आलोचनात्मक अध्ययन
कर उसे प्रस्तुत करना होगा।
There is an ancient village located in Sitamarhi district of North Bihar whose name is Morsad. It is believed to have been established in 1664 CE. 2148 years ago, Kasars (a community) lived here. It is a place and ancient remains are still available here. Due to being a village near Morsad under this proposed scheme, there will be considerable interest in studying this area. The traditions related to the social, economic, religious and political conditions of this village, which remain unwritten till today, will have to be studied in detail and critically and presented.

लिपिबद्ध कराना तथा उनका आलोचनात्मक अध्ययन
प्रस्तुत करना योजना का स्पष्ट उद्देश्य है।

To document the disappearing traditions of the village and to present their critical study is the clear objective of the plan.

परिकल्पना

क्षेत्र अध्ययन से एकत्र सामग्रियाँ गांव की सामाजिक, आर्थिक तथा
धार्मिक जीवन के अन्य पहलुओं के विषय में विशेष रूप से
स्पष्ट रूप से बतलाएंगी कि एक ही तत्व विभिन्न जातियों में किस प्रकार
भिन्न-भिन्न तरह से काम करता है या अपना प्रभाव डालता है तथा कि किस
प्रकार एक ही परंपरा वहाँ के लोगों ने बहुत दिनों से साथ
छोड़कर नई परंपरा अपना ली है।
Hypothesis

The materials collected from field study will clearly tell about the social, economic and other aspects of religious life of the village, specifically how the same element works in different ways or has its impact among different castes, and how the people there have abandoned the same tradition for a long time and adopted new traditions.
